Abstract

In this paper, to deal with the time-varying external disturbance, a robust voltage controller based on high-order extended state observer (ESO)is proposed for the dc-dc high-gain floating interleaved boost converter. Within the controller, the disturbance is estimated in real time using high-order ESO and is then canceled in the control law, thus the controller shows good robustness. It is demonstrated by theoretical analysis that compared with the conventional ESO-based controller, the proposed controller has better ability in dealing with the time-varying disturbance. The simulation comparison results with a proportional-integral (PI)controller and the conventional ESO-based controller validate the effectiveness and the superiority of the proposed controller.
