Abstract

Clock synchronization is a basic technology of time-sensitive network. The stable operation of clock synchronization is important. However, there are many network faults that affect clock synchronization in the network, resulting in the unstable accuracy or even loss of clock synchronization.Link failure is one common factor. In this paper, we propose a solution to deal with link failures by adding redundant ports. Simulations prove that our solution can effectively deal with most of the sudden link failures and ensure the accuracy of clock synchronization. Meanwhile, the energy consumption is close to the minimum.
