Abstract
Reaction of chiral allylic and dienylic cyclic carbonates with various nucleophiles in the presence of (PPh 3) 4Pd as a catalyst afforded α-, γ-, or ε-substituted products with high regio-, ( E)-stereo-, and diastereoselectivity depending on nucleophiles.
