Abstract
Photostability is an important factor in photocatalytic CO2 reduction system. In this work, a highly stable photocatalytic CO2 reduction system was constructed with an organic dye proflavin (PF) as photosensitizer (PS) and ZIF-67 as catalyst. The system worked well for more than 48 h under visible light and displayed high photocatalytic efficiency of 25.6 μmol for CO evolution. A significantly high turnover number (TON) of 13.5 was calculated based on the PS. The durability and efficiency of the PS are much better than those relative reported works. Carbon source was confirmed by the 13C-labelled isotropic experiment. The simple and unique combination of PF and ZIF-67 provides a valuable result toward photocatalytic CO2 reduction system.
