Abstract
The prestigious High-Efficiency Power Amplifier (HEPA) Student Design Competition (SDC) has been held annually for 17 years. In 2021, the competition was held virtually, live streamed from Keysight Technology’s Microwave Measurements Lab on 15 October 2021. The contest, organized by the IEEE Microwave Theory and Technology Society in collaboration with Keysight Technology, provides an opportunity for students from around the world to compete in the design of power amplifiers (PAs) with high linearity and high efficiency over a specified instantaneous bandwidth.
