Gold? Ja! – Aber in welcher Form? Die im Titel bezeichneten Katalysatoren wurden nach einem Kolloidabscheidungsverfahren erhalten. Rastertransmissionselektronenmikroskopie-Untersuchungen belegen, dass das Vorliegen von Doppelschichten aus etwa 0.5 nm großen Goldclustern nicht zwingend für eine hohe katalytische Aktivität erforderlich ist (siehe Bild).
