Abstract
A successful First National Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) Training Conference has been held in San Antonio, Tex. This Conference was sponsored by the Sexual Assault Resource Service in Minneapolis and the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) of the Department of Justice. Six hundred seventy-two persons attended, including 236 sexual assault nurse examiners (SANEs)—the most highly represented SART discipline—followed closely by advocates, 210 of whom attended. Space at the Conference sold out months ahead of time.
