Abstract
The 17th European AIDS Conference (EACS) was held in Basel, Switzerland over 4 days in November 2019. The event was co-chaired by Jurgen Rockstroh and Manuel Battegay. The organisers declared that preventing, diagnosing and treating HIV and AIDS was a shared mission and hoped Basel would become a global village for the exchange of knowledge.
