Abstract
After the last successful conference in Daegu (South Korea) in 2018, the International Congress of Parasitology (ICOPA) returned this year for its 15th interation on Aug 21–26. Hosted in Copenhagen (Denmark) by the Danish Society for Parasitology and the Scandinavian–Baltic Society for Parasitology, ICOPA 2022 was attended by 1507 participants from 95 countries joining both in-person and online. The theme of the conference, living with parasites, included symposia ranging from paleoparasitology to functional genomics, anthelmintic resistance, next generation diagnostics, One Health, citizen science for disease control, and gender equality in academia.
