Abstract
A mutual positive effect, increasing the economic, environmental and life values of the overall hybrid system is implemented in the hybrid engine based on solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) and eco-friendly ceramic high-temperature (up to 1350 ° C) gas turbine micro engine (μGTE). Should syngas be used as fuel, the 65-70% efficiency of the hybrid engine can be realized at the emissions of the toxic exhaust components (NOx, CO, CnHm) not higher 5 ppm. Both the introduction of uncooled ceramic membranes into the hybrid engine for separation of hydrogen from the high temperature (up to 11000C) CO-containing stream and using a hydrogen storage on the magnesium hydride and fullerene soot basis increase the efficiency and reliability of the electrochemical reactions of the SOFC, extends application of natural gas, allows carrying out a timely variation of the hybrid engine load.
