Abstract

Meson resonances with exotic quantum numbers, predicted by Rosner under the assumption of local resonance saturation, are shown to follow from the much less stringent assumption of global resonance saturation. The same hypothesis, applied to the scattering of baryons against these mesons, is then shown to imply the existence of baryon resonances with exotic quantum numbers as well. And the latter, in turn, seems to imply meson resonances, with still more exotic quantum numbers.
