Lyell is director of policy analysis for the Colorado Commission on Higher Education. He directed the CCHE project on planning and management systems for over two years. Previously, Lyell was associated with the University of Colorado Business Research Division, the Institute for Behavioral Science, and the WICHE-MIS program. At San Francisco State College he was assistant to the director of faculty research while completing his MBA.
