Higher Education in India Need To Be More Skilled and Reformed For Internationalization

Abstract

This article helps us to understand the importance of higher education in India. Education being a powerful tool, it has to be given more importance. India’s renowned scholars like Charaka, Susruta, Vatsayayana and many more had contributed to world knowledge in many diverse fields. In the present study a survey has been done to know the importance of higher education in India. A questionnaire has been made with 15 questions and the sample size of 40 with simple random sampling has been done. The importance of higher education in India, internationalization, value education, use of technology in education, accreditation and also to improve the position of India in the world rankings. The above mentioned parameters were tested in the questionnaire. Majority has given the responses that, the Indian education system need to be reformed and also to be globalised. For the responses the questionnaire was prepared and send using a link. Gender differences was not taken into account. Respondents were from different areas of specialisation. This article can help as an eye-opener for the improvement in the higher education system in India which makes our Indian system in the coming future to be in the world rankings like THE, QS.
