Abstract

This paper presents a study on the possibilities of magnetron enhancement through different materials of magnetron's cathode structure. Magnetron structure is built in COMSOL to testify the performance of different content such as Barium Oxide (BaO) and Gallium Nitride (GaN). The essential procedure of getting the simulation result presented. Comparison of Electric Field (EF), Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), and heat density for both materials compared between each content for low power and high-frequency microwave power generation. The application of the enhancement applicable for microwave generation of 5W at 2,450MHz operation, precisely long-distance wireless mobile charging usage.
