Abstract

A comparison is made of the forced characteristics of various grades of high-coercivity prominent magnets (barium oxide and alloys based on rare-earth elements), which are used in magnetic clutches as rectangular prisms. One can use permanent magnets with the same dimensions on different materials to make a magnetic clutch with various torques.
