Abstract

The series of the half-Heusler compounds CoNb1−xMxSn (M: Ti and Mo) have been prepared, and their high temperature electric properties and thermal properties have been measured. The thermoelectric power (TEP) and electrical resistivity show a strong dependence on the transition metal concentration. The temperature and transition metal concentration dependences of the thermoelectric properties of CoNb1−xMxSn have also been studied.
