Abstract

AbstractThe preparation of two new medium polar CH3O‐terminated 50% diphenyl substituted polysiloxane phases by means of a one step condensation of bis(dimethylamino)alkylsilanes and diphenysilanediol is reported. Both phases can be used up to temperatures of 420°C. The unusual route of synthesis offers an easy and reliable way to prepare a variety of tailor‐made high temperature stable polysiloxane phases.
