High-temperature field theory in curved spacetime

Abstract

We establish, to all orders in Newton's constant, the form of the effective actions describing hard-thermal matter loops in curved spacetime, both with external gluon lines ( T 2 effects) and without ( T 4 effects). In the latter case, the energy-momentum tensor corresponding to the effective action has T 00 > 0.
