Abstract

The low cycle fatigue and fatigue crack propagation behaviour of an oxide dispersion strengthened nickel base superalloy type MA 6000 have been analysed in the temperature range of 850°C and 950 C. The parameters of Basquin, Coffin-Manson and Paris relationships have been calculated. The results have been discussed by analysing the interaction between some fatigue crack propagation models and low cycle fatigue mechanisms that occur at elevated temperature.
