Abstract

A device for automatic low-frequency impedance measurements of solids is describes with particular regard to a newly developed high-temperature cell and its temperature controlling unit. This device can be used for AC measurements of properties of material over the frequency range 5 HZ to 13 MHz from ambient temperature up to 700 degrees C. Complete computer control is available. Results of test measurements with well characterised ionic conductors are given.
