Abstract

It is suggested that high T c superconductors are multiconnected, based on the fact that pairs are formed within the pairing interaction range. The s wave pairing state, with the notion of multiconnected superconductor (MS), is shown to account for data on YBCO-Pb SQUIDs and tunnel junctions and for the half flux quantum observed in a YBCO ring with three grain boundary junctions. The notion of MS is shown to account for the main features of the anomalous Hall effect observed in low T c and high T c superconductors.
