Abstract
The presentation of materials on the use of high-speed reducing and sizing units in the tail section of small-section and wire mills is continued. Materials are presented on the drive options for the stands included in the units, as well as on the design of these stands, made with a cantilever arrangement of the work rolls. The advantages of the rolling stands are indicated, the features of their operation and settings are described. Information about the design of the stands and the layout of the reducting and sizing units manufactured by Danieli in the line of the wire mill 210 of the Abinsk Electrometallurgical Plant is given.
