Abstract
ABSTRACT A high-speed level shifter for ring oscillators is presented. It uses a tracking mechanism to reduce the duty cycle variation due to Process, Voltage, and Temperature (PVT). Extensive simulations across PVT and Monte Carlo mismatch show that the proposed level shifter can operate at up to 6GHz with maximum duty cycle degradation of ±5%. The proposed level shifter is designed in 16nm FinFET technology and works for a core supply voltage and temperature range of 0.8V ± 10% and −40ºC to 125ºC, respectively.
