Abstract
Abstract This paper describes a cascade wind tunnel used by the author since 1948. Such auxiliary equipment as an automatic traverse and recording gear and a wedge-shaped probe are described. Some results are presented with a method of analysis for turbine cascades which converts the cascade results into a turbine-performance chart. The existence of a critical load factor results from this analysis.
