Abstract

OBJECTIVE: Current manual microinjection of mammalian oocytes/zygotes suffers from long training, low speed, human errors, and inter-operator variability. The lack of automated systems capable of high-throughput mouse oocyte/zygote injection hampers the investigation of wide ranges of potential molecular targets involved in mammalian embryo development.
