Abstract

The Cavity Ring-Down Spectra (CRDS) of hydrogen chloride were recorded in the 12,943–13,295 cm−1 region with sensitivity of 4 × 10−11 cm−1. The lines P(4) – P(12) of the 5–0 band of two H35Cl and H37Cl isotopologues were assigned in these spectra. The positions, intensities, self-broadening and self-pressure-induced shift coefficients of these lines were measured. The measured line positions are in a good agreement with those presented in the HITRAN2020 database. The measured line intensities are 1.3 times greater than those from the HITRAN2020 database. The measured self-broadening coefficients are in a good agreement with the HITRAN2020 values for the small angular momentum quantum numbers and slightly exceed the HITRAN2020 values for the large angular momentum quantum numbers.
