Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı, lise öğrencilerinin sosyal medya bağımlılıklarının incelenmesidir. Araştırmanın örneklemini 2014-2015 eğitim-öğretim yılında İstanbul ili Eyüp ilçesindeki 6 farklı okulda öğrenim gören 473 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Öğrencilerin sosyal medya bağımlılıklarını belirlemek amacıyla Tutgun Ünal ve Deniz (2015) tarafından geliştirilen “Sosyal Medya Bağımlılığı Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada genel olarak lise öğrencilerinin sosyal medyaya orta seviyede bağımlı olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca lise öğrencilerinin sosyal medya bağımlılıklarının cinsiyet, okul türü, sınıf seviyesi, sosyal medya kullanım yılı, günlük ortalama internet kullanım süresi gibi değişkenler açısından farklılaştığı belirlenmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarının sosyal medya bağımlılığı konusundaki alan yazına katkı sağlayacağı umulmaktadır.
