Abstract

My journey in leadership and entrepreneurship started in college. I aspired to be more than just a typical college student. I became active in managing and creating college clubs and involving myself in the organization of and participation in different programming competitions. Moreover, I provided facilitation, training, and support for students to get involved in local, regional, and international competitions, such as IEEEXtreme, Google Code Jam, the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Arab Collegiate Programming Contest (ACPC), and several others. I participated in creating the local Student Branch of the IEEE at my university, the Arab American University in Jenin, Palestine, and managed it for a short period before my graduation.
