Abstract
The high resolution infrared spectrum of H2S has been recorded on a Fourier transform spectrometer Bruker IFS 120 HR in the region of the fundamental band ν2with an instrumental resolution of about 0.0020 cm−1. Lines have been assigned to the ν2bands of the isotopic species H232S, H234S, and H233S and in addition to the hot band 2ν2− ν2of H232S. In the case of the fundamental band of H232S, 226 upper state energy levels withJmax= 17 were obtained and fitted with a standard deviation of 9.96 × 10−5cm−1. For H234S, 126 energy levels withJmax= 14 were obtained, and for H233S, 57 lines could be assigned.
