Abstract
High-energy resolution (15 μeV) measurements of the maxon-roton signal parameters have been carried out on superfluid 4He by the high-resolution crystal analyser spectrometer (IRIS) at the ISIS Facility. These inverse-geometry TOF measurements performed in the liquid state within a range of pressures (1.1–24) bar and in the temperature range (1.4–1.8) K, cover the roton and maxon regions of the dynamic structure factor.
