Abstract

The focus of this review is on applications of scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM) to studies of heterogeneous chemical processes and high resolution characterization of the solid/liquid and liquid/liquid interfaces. Recent advances in SECM imaging of surface topography and chemical reactivity are also surveyed.
