Abstract
The present report describes the development of the first high resolution rCBF instrument, the Cortexplorer 256-HR, providing a spatial resolution for superficial cortical areas of about 1 cm. Examples will be given of how this improved resolution makes it possible to describe and interpret the flow pathology of individual patients. It also makes it possible to interpret rCBF changes induced by different mental tasks given to the patients during the recording
