Abstract
Coherent anti-Stokes Raman spectra of the Q-branches of N 2, O 2 and of v 1 of C 2H 2 have been measured with fairly high resolution (≈ 0.30 cm -1) by means of a pulsed dye laser system. Calculated CARS spectra show very good agreement with the observed rotational Q-branch structure.
