Abstract

High-resolution EPR spectra of α,α-diphenyl-β-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) and of a number of its derivatives have been obtained. A least-square analysis of the EPR spectra has been made for DPPH using Fourier transformations. The values of hyperfine splittings found are in good agreement with the authors' results from quantum mechanical calculations and NMR data on concentrated solution of the radical.
