Abstract
We have performed high-resolution angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES) of Co-, Ni-, and Zn-substituted Bi 2Sr 2CaCu 2O 8+δ (Bi2212) to study the impurity effect on the electronic structure. In all compounds, we observed a remarkable suppression of the intensity of coherent peak around ( π , 0) point at the superconducting state, consistent with the decrease in the superfluid density. By quantitatively analyzing ARPES lineshape, we found that the weight of the coherent peak well scales with T c among substituted and unsubstituted Bi-family high- T c superconductors exept for Zn-substituted Bi2212.
