Abstract

In this paper, a two-position rotating grating compressed sensing spectrometer is proposed, which can expand the spectrum measurement range nearly twice without losing high resolution. In the entire measurement process, two compressed sensing samples are taken for two spectral segments respectively, but through mathematical transformation, only one calculation is performed to reconstruct the whole spectrum. A spectroscopic experimental system is established, and spectral integration and line calibration are performed. The spectral resolution of the spectrometer is better than 0.6 nm, and the spectrum measurement range is 325.2 nm–737.1 nm. Finally, the transmission spectrum of a liquid solution is measured using the proposed spectrometer, and the influence of sampling ratio on the quality of spectral reconstruction is investigated.
