Abstract
The design of a BT-type quartz oscillator, operating on the third overtone and having a Q value of 2 × 106 at a frequency of 15 Mc/s, is described. For a crystal element cut to the specification of (yxl)-46°, the zero temperature coefficient of frequency occurred at 24.8° C.
