Abstract

We report high proton conductivity (10 mS cm−1 at 235 °C) of stable BaSc0.8W0.2O2.8, which is attributed to (1) high proton concentration due to full hydration and large amount of oxygen vacancies and (2) high proton mobility due to reduced proton trapping.
