High pressure low temperature vapor-liquid equilibria of hydrogen containing systems

Abstract

By incorporation of the effect of ortho-para conversion of hydrogen and quantum correction in the perturbed hard chain equation of state, thus extended equation successfully represents PVT data and gives a good description of VLE at low temperatures and high pressures of hydrogen-containing systems. Good agreement with experimental data are obtained at pressures ranging from low to over 60 MPa and for a temperature range of 60 to 130 K.
