Abstract
Abstract The stereochemistry of the high pressure-induced Diels-Alder reaction of furan and methyl acrylate can be altered by varying the reaction temperature. Changes in solvent, reagent stoichiometry, or reaction pressure had no effect upon the stereochemistry of the cycloaddition.
