Abstract

We review the state of the art of the theory predictions available for the Bhabha process in QED, paying particular attention to the implementation of the theoretical ingredients into Monte Carlo generators used for highprecision luminosity measurements at present and future e+e− colliders. The challenges posed by per mille normalization at present flavor factories, as well as by the precision tag at the 10−4 level for future e+e− facilities, are also discussed.
