Abstract
For the necessity of measuring the small phase difference of internalfriction, a detailed comparison is carried out among the fast Fouriertransformation (FFT), correlation function and three-parameter sine wavecurve-fit methods. The comparison shows that the three-parameter sinewave curve-fit method can obtain more precise phase angle differencethan correlation methods. Compared with the FFT algorithm, thethree-parameter sine wave curve-fit method can obtain more precisefrequency values.
