Abstract

For low voltage high frequency high power pulse power supply applications, pulse power can be provided through the output storage capacitor, and this paper proposes the circuit structure of a phase-shifted full-bridge converter (PSFB). The small-signal modeling of the PSFB is carried out, and on this basis, the method of suppressing the input current ripple when using dual closed-loop control is analyzed in detail. To achieve high power output, we take the input-parallel-output-parallel (IPOP) structure and analyze the average current sharing method with the outer loop regulation control structure. Then, we take place diodes with MOSFETs to reduce power loss and isolate fault modules. Finally, the experimental results are given to verify the validity and feasibility of the proposed method.
