Abstract

This paper proposes a wireless charging system (WCS) with the secondary-side interleaved Buck converter (SIBC) and multi-coil integrated solenoid magnetic coupler (ISMC). Then the constant current/constant voltage (CC/CV) charging based on SIBC duty cycle regulation is realized with high misalignment tolerance. First, the working principle and parameter design of the WCS is analyzed. Second, the ISMC structure is optimized, then the coupling condition comparison proves the high anti-misalignment capability. Besides, both the LCC inductor and SIBC filter inductors are integrated into the ISMC without affecting the power transfer. Third, the small-signal model of SIBC is set up, combined with the simulation results, the closed-loop control scheme for CC/CV charging is confirmed. Finally, the experimental results validate the feasibility of the proposed WCS with high performance.
