Abstract
The applicability of chiral HPLC for the rapid analysis of the enantiopurity of organoiridium and -molybdenum complexes is demonstrated. Halogen-substituted metal complexes showed the best separation and the longest elution times. Separation of enantiomers of planar chiral zirconium and titanium complexes was also attempted although unsuccessfully. Preparative-scale columns were shown to be useful for the separation of racemic material into synthetically useful amounts of pure enantiomers.
