Abstract
The displacements of the edge surface of a piezoelectric plate in which a symmetrical Lamb wave is propagating is used for generating cylindrical waves in liquid. The potential of this transducer derives from the possibility of performing a pre-elaboration of the signal already at the stage of electroacoustic transduction.
