Abstract

We propose a new nonlinear AVO inversion methods, which uses inverse operator estimation algorithm for solving nonlinear AVO inversion problem. On the one hand, nonlinear inversion is more in line with the substance of the inverse problem. On the other hand, the ideas on solving the inverse problem is to inverse directly, comparing to the general nonlinear optimization algorithm which uses the way of searching. This work is based on the high order Zoeppritz equation to build the inverse equation and take the variation of K into consideration. Then we use the method for model test and real data separately. Results show that the method has high stability and reliability.
