Abstract

In this paper we examine some of the stability properties of a special class of multivalue methods called (in K. Burrage, Order properties of multivalue methods, IMA J. Numer. Anal., submitted) multistep Runge-Kutta methods and construct families of algebraically stable methods of arbitrarily high order.
