Abstract

Type 2 endoleak (T2EL) is the most common finding after endovascular aortic aneurysm repair (EVAR). Low aneurysm related-mortality with T2EL has been established. Optimal management strategy and efficacy of T2EL reintervention remains unknown. We used data from the Vascular Quality Initiative linked to Medicare claims (VQI-Medicare) to evaluate T2EL natural history and significance.
