Abstract
Classification of high grade endometrial carcinoma is a daunting task. Morphologic overlap, non-descript histology, overlapping immunohistochemical staining results and a flood of new molecular tests can make this relatively common task incredibly difficult. This case based talk will address such topics as the presence of severe nuclear atypia, solid growth patterns, clear cell carcinoma and the ever growing field of immunohistochemical and molecular testing in these tumours. A histologic and immunohistochemistry based approach to diagnosis, underpinned by recent molecular findings, will be presented to help ease the classification of these difficult lesions.
